Weekly Schedule

In addition to classes and/or the volunteer service project, the LPI staff organizes meetings to monitor students' progress and discuss the week's itinerary, including cultural activities and excursions.
 

Classes

Spring Break Programs: Academic classes are not offered during Spring Break Global Impact sessions.
Summer Programs: In Heredia, classes are held Monday through Thursday with afternoon sessions. In Cusco, classes are held Monday through Friday with morning and/or afternoon sessions.
 

Cultural Activities

Spring Break Programs: Three mandatory cultural activities are organized each week of the program and are designed to help students experience Heredia.
Summer Programs: Three mandatory cultural activities are organized during the first two weeks of the program and are designed to help students experience the program cities. During the last two weeks of the program, students are engaged in volunteer service projects and will participate in additional cultural activities when available.
 

Free Time

During each week and on some weekend days students will have free time to explore the program cities on their own. The LPI staff provides students with suggested activties to help learn more about their host city and culture.

Excursions

Weekend excursions provide student the opportunity to observe and learn about the culture and history of neighboring cities and surrounding areas.
