| March 10 | Depart the U.S. for the San José International Airport (SJO). Plan to arrive by 2 PM. The resident staff will pick up students as they arrive at the airport. Students will meet their host families upon arrival to Heredia. |
| March 11 | On-site orientation at the LPI office followed by a city tour of Heredia. |
| March 12 - 16 | Volunteer schedule begins (Mon-Fri 4-5 hours/day). Afternoon cultural activities. |
| March 17 | Day excursion: Depart Heredia in the early morning for Isla Tortuga. Spend the day at the beach. Return to Heredia in the late afternoon. |
| March 18 | Leave Heredia in the morning for the international airport in San José (SJO). Depart for the U.S. before noon. |

| July 7 | Depart the U.S. for the San José International Airport (SJO). Plan to arrive between 8am - 8:30pm. The resident staff will pick up students as they arrive at the airport. Students will meet their host families upon arrival to Heredia. |
| July 8 | On-site orientation meeting at the LPI office followed by a city tour of Heredia. |
| July 9 | Placement exams at the Universidad Latina. Regular class schedule begins (week 1). Classes are held Monday-Thursday (5 hours/day) in the afternoons. Morning activities are planned three days a week. |
| July 10 - 12 | Regular classes continue as well as morning activities. |
| July 13 | Optional day excursion at an additional cost. Return to Heredia in the afternoon. |
| July 14 - 15 | Overnight Excursion: Depart for Monteverde on Saturday morning. Return to Heredia on Sunday. |
| July 16 - 19 | Regular class schedule continues (week 2). Cultural activities during the week. |
| July 20 - 22 | Overnight Excursion: Depart for Dominical on Friday. Spend the weekend at the beach and return to Heredia on Sunday. |

| June 28 | Students depart the U.S. for Lima. Arrive at the Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) between 9am and 11:59pm. Students will be met by the resident directors and taken directly to the hotel in Lima. |
| June 29 | First on-site orientation meeting. Cultural visits in Lima. |
| June 30 | Cultural visits in Lima. |
| July 1 | Morning group flight from Lima (LIM) to Cusco (CUZ). Meet host families and have second program orientation. |
| July 2 | Placement exams at the Centro Tinku. Walking tour of the city. |
| July 3 - 6 | Regular class schedule begins (week 1). Classes meet Monday through Friday (4 hours/day). Cultural activities during the week. |
| July 7 - 8 | Overnight Excursion: depart Cusco for the Sacred Valley. Visit the Inca sites and stay the evening in Aguascalientes. Sunday morning visit the ruins of Machu Picchu before returning to Cusco Sunday evening. |
| July 9 - 13 | Regular class schedule continues (week 2). Final exams on Friday. Cultural activities during the week. |
| July 14 | Day Trip: depart Cusco for Chincheros. Visit ruins villages of Maras and Moray. Return to Cusco in the afternoon. |
| July 15 | Free Sunday to explore Cusco. |
| July 16 - 20 | Regular service/volunteer schedule begins (week 1). Service project(s) take place during the week 4 to 5 hours a day. |
| July 20 - 22 | Overnight Excursion: depart Cusco for Puno and Lake Titicaca on an overnight bus. Visit the islands and indigenous peoples of Lake Titicaca and Puno on Saturday and Sunday. Depart Puno on a overnight bus to Cusco on Sunday evening. |
| July 23 - 27 | Regular service/volunteer schedule continues (week 2). |
| July 28 | Morning group flight from Cusco (CUZ) to Lima (LIM). Arrive at the Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in the afternoon. Depart for the U.S. after 7 PM (overnight flight). |
