This was an incredible opportunity for Sam. It broadened his horizons, he made new friends, and of course expanded his knowledge of the language and the culture. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and available. This made it easier to send our son on his first trip to study abroad.

My daughter's self-esteem was greatly influenced by her trip to Costa Rica; she had fun and was able to help children in great need. She has decided to study teaching and wants to travel to outside the USA and help children like the ones she encountered in Heredia, Costa Rica. It seems that in just a week she matured several years. Thank you for giving children this opportunity, excellent work.

LPI has a genuine program in place for students to learn French and is NOT a glorified tourist program. The French language classes were intensive and educational but not overwhelming, and our daughter really enjoyed her time in Angers. She loved being at the University with all the other international students. Her host family was very warm, welcoming and safe. The other American students in the program were a motivated and fun group and our daughter made some good friends. The French LPI staff was excellent.

The program and excursions were well-planned. The staff with whom I interacted were highly professional and knew how to relate to teens. Everything I have heard from my daughter about the staff confirm this. She grew personally from living in another culture away from home. Plus, she had a great time.

The staff was great, very responsive and organized. The trip was incredible from start to finish. Hannah had traveled to Costa Rica with another program last summer and tells me that the L.P.I. was "way better!!" If she can go next summer, I will send her again!

LPI is a very organized, professional outfit that knows what it is doing! LPI allows the kids to have their independence, yet follow a strict set of rules. It has the right amount of travel and history mixed with free time to explore on their own. It taught them more than just what they learned in the classroom. In fact, my next daughter hopes to travel to Sevilla next year as well and would love to request the same house mother! That says it all!
