This was an incredible opportunity for Sam. It broadened his horizons, he made new friends, and of course expanded his knowledge of the language and the culture. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and available. This made it easier to send our son on his first trip to study abroad.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful program in Costa Rica. Adam returned home happier than I’ve ever seen him. He had the best time. He loved his host family, made lots of friends, learned a lot, and gained confidence in his Spanish. His grammar teacher was phenomenal. The weekend excursions were the highlights of the month. Most important of all, he became more assured in his ability to handle different situations, like being in a foreign country and away from home for a month. He came through with flying colors!

The program and excursions were well-planned. The staff with whom I interacted were highly professional and knew how to relate to teens. Everything I have heard from my daughter about the staff confirm this. She grew personally from living in another culture away from home. Plus, she had a great time.

Mark's host family was amazing! They even had a birthday party with a cake for Mark when he turned 16 while in Malaga. Mark had many great stories about his lovely host family. I hear that their home was very lovely too and in a great location. It was an incredible experience for Mark to live with a family and have to speak Spanish, which in a dorm would not always happen. Also, it gave me great peace of mind to know that there was a "Mom" to look after Mark. Everything went so smoothly and as advertised. The staff was very responsive and easy to reach while Mark was away. There was always someone to answer my questions. I would highly recommend the program to anyone. It is so different learning a language while living in a foreign country with a host family. It really was an immersion program, set in a warm and safe environment.
