Isabel Weber has been working with LPI as the Houston Representative since March 2003. She was born in Madrid, Spain and has lived in Houston, Texas since 1981. She met her husband in Madrid while he was studying abroad in Spain during the year of 1979. Isabel and her husband have two young children and they travel together almost every summer to Spain or Mexico. The purpose of this annual visit is to immerse the children in the Spanish language and culture. During the past 13 years, Isabel was the manager and buyer for Guy Laroche, a French boutique in Houston. As an LPI Representative, she has had the opportunity to meet wonderful language teachers in Houston that also share her passion for the Spanish language and culture.
