LPI offers students a variety of programs for 2 to 5 weeks during the summer months, as well as Spring Break sessions. Students in most cases attend intensive Spanish, French, or Italian language courses. In London, students study London as a world city from 1845-present. LPI students enrolling in language immersion programs are required to take a language placement exam upon arrival in their host city. Students will attend a minimum of 3-4 hours of instruction each day, Monday- Friday. Please refer to individual programs to discover what classes are offered. In Guanajuato, Mexico, Heredia, Costa Rica, London, England, and Sevilla, Spain, students take classes with other LPI students only. On all other LPI programs, students take classes with other international students, mostly college level, at the foreign university's language school.
