The host family was so very kind to my daughter. We are so grateful; I could not have asked for a kinder family and more supportive family to guide our daughter through this experience. The LPI staff were always caring, supportive and encouraging. This was a life-changing experience for my daughter.
LPI is a very organized, professional outfit that knows what it is doing! LPI allows the kids to have their independence, yet follow a strict set of rules. It has the right amount of travel and history mixed with free time to explore on their own. It taught them more than just what they learned in the classroom. In fact, my next daughter hopes to travel to Sevilla next year as well and would love to request the same house mother! That says it all!
I think this was an fantastic language immersion experience for Sabrina at a very reasonable cost, especially for Spain. Her spanish improved tremendously. Prior to the trip, she could barely answer any questions or put a sentence together despite having taken Spanish III in high school. Now she can converse entirely in Spanish!
First, I would heartily recommend LPI to anyone who is considering a study-abroad program. Second, the company takes its responsibility very seriously and so you can rest easy knowing that your child's safety and welfare is high priority for LPI. Lastly, the cost for the program is reasonable and we felt like Emily really got to experience Spain from many different perspectives. She can't wait to go back!
