Weekly Schedule
In addition to classes, the LPI staff organizes meetings to monitor students' progress and discuss the week's itinerary, including cultural activities and excursions.
Classes
Classes are held Monday through Friday with morning and/or afternoon sessions.
Cultural Activities
Three mandatory cultural activities are organized each week of the program and are designed to help students experience Cusco. Below is a list of cultural activities the LPI staff in Cusco has organized in the past.
- Visit Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Santo Domingo church
- Tour the historic sites of the Plaza de Armas
- The Inka museum
- Walking tour of the bohemian neigborhood, San Blas
- Artesan markets
Free Time
During each week and on some weekend days students will have free time to explore Cusco on their own. The LPI staff provides students with suggested activties to help learn more about their host city and culture.
Excursions
Weekend excursions provide student the opportunity to observe and learn about the culture and history of neighboring cities and surrounding areas.
