| July 7 | Depart the U.S. for the San José International Airport (SJO). Plan to arrive between 8am - 8:30pm. The resident staff will pick up students as they arrive at the airport. Students will meet their host families upon arrival to Heredia. | Flight Information |
| July 8 | On-site orientation meeting at the LPI office followed by a city tour of Heredia. | Orientation |
| July 9 | Placement exams at the Universidad Latina. Regular class schedule begins (week 1). Classes are held Monday-Thursday (5 hours/day) in the afternoons. Morning activities are planned three days a week. | University |
| July 10 - 12 | Regular classes continue as well as morning activities. | |
| July 13 | Optional day excursion at an additional cost. Return to Heredia in the afternoon. | Río Pacuare |
| July 14 - 15 | Overnight Excursion: Depart for Monteverde on Saturday morning. Return to Heredia on Sunday. | Monteverde |
| July 16 - 19 | Regular class schedule continues (week 2). Cultural activities during the week. | |
| July 20 - 22 | Overnight Excursion: Depart for Dominical on Friday. Spend the weekend at the beach and return to Heredia on Sunday. | Dominical |

| July 28 - 29 | Overnight Excursion: depart for Arenal early Saturday morning. Return to Heredia on Sunday. | Arenal |
| July 30 - August 2 | Regular service/volunteer schedule continues (week 2). Project meetings following each day of service. | |
