WELCOME TO LPIABROAD.COM

Thank you for expressing interest in Learning Programs International (LPI)! LPI programs emphasize language acquisition and/or cultural immersion for students at various levels of proficiency. Students have the opportunity to take classes at an accredited foreign university while living with a host family. LPI offers summer programs to study in Spain, France, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, and England. Spring Break and Volunteer programs are also available. LPI can also organize customized programs for high school foreign language teachers to nine different countries.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

LPI Launches New Program for Summer 2010 in London, England

Beginning with the 2010 summer, LPI will be conducting study programs in London, England where students will study at the London South Bank University. For details, click here.

On The Move: Programs in San Jose, Costa Rica, transition to Heredia

Beginning in 2010 all LPI programs in Costa Rica will be held in Heredia, a city northwest of the capital, San José. Program sessions, excursions, and many activities included in the former programs in San José will continue to be offered for all programs in Heredia. For more information, click here.

LPI Global Impact: Official Launch of Volunteer Abroad Programs

New for the 2010 summer is LPI Global Impact: two new programs designed to combine university credit and volunteer projects. Learn how you can contribute to the development of your host city while learning Spanish by clicking here.

LPI Spring Break: One-Week Language Immersion

Prepare for your Spanish AP exam and earn college credit while studying abroad during Spring Break. Programs available in Heredia, Costa Rica.

2010 Dr. Carlos E. Castañeda Memorial Scholarship Now Available!

Three $1500 scholarships will be awarded to be used towards any general LPI 2010 summer study abroad program. To find out more click here.
